Constitution history

The CIO – LCI MD 105 Foundation – was registered 04 December 2015 (amended on 20 January 2021).

On 29 July 2012, the Lions Clubs International Multiple District Charity Trust was constituted by a Deed of Trust.

  • Subsequently, the Trustees of the Charity Trust agreed to transfer its assets into LCI MD 105 Foundation. The Trustees of the Foundation accepted these assets as restricted and/or endowment funds, as directed by the donors.
  • On 25 May 2016, the Charity Commission linked both charities at the request of their Trustees.

On 23 June 1983, the Lions Clubs International MD105 Youth Activities Trust was constituted by a Deed of Trust.

  • Subsequently, the Trustees of the Youth Activities Trust agreed to transfer its assets into LCI MD 105 Foundation. The Trustees of the Foundation accepted the assets as funds as directed by the donors.
  • On 28 June 2019, the Charity Commission linked both charities at the request of their Trustees.
