David Atkins. Lions MD105 Foundation Trustee & Secretary. Glastonbury and Street Lions Club.

I am a retired company director and have been a Lion and a member of Glastonbury and Street Lions Club since 1981. Having undertaken many roles in the club and district, I had the honour of being District Governor of 105SW (South-West area) in 1999-2000. Being a Lion is an important part of my life. What gives me the greatest buzz is bringing a smile to the face of someone we have helped in some way. A little known fact about me is that I received received several awards from Avon and Somerset Police as a police volunteer with Neighbourhood Watch in Street.
Paula Mellows. Lions MD105 Foundation Trustee & Treasurer. Lincoln Lions Club.

I joined Lincoln Lions in 1994 and as a book keeper, was invited to become Treasurer of the Foundation. My personal highlight of being a Lion came on 15th May 2010 when my club bestowed on me a Melvin Jones Fellowship award. I was fortunate to be awared an invitation to the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on 21st May 2024, in the presence of Prince William and his cousins. Having lived abroad in Brazil and Nigeria, I love travelling, especially cruises.
Kevin Hunter. Lions MD105 Foundation Trustee. Easingwold District Lions Club.
I’ve been a Lion since 2015, and was previously manufacturing director at KP Snacks. I was fortunate to become District Governor for two years, allowing me to meet so many inspirational members and clubs that otherwise I would not. I felt that becoming a trustee of the Foundation was a good opportunity to understand more and contribute from my DG perspective.
Glyn Williams. Lions MD105 Foundation Trustee. Newport and Usk Vale Lions.
